Disclaimer: I've only had it for 2 weeks. But I worked in an ice cream shop for 2 years and a coffee shop for 4. I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of blenders. This one holds its own for sure, especially for the price. The UI takes some getting used to, I personally think the way the On/Off button works is strange, but it functions perfectly. It also has a place to wrap the cord on the back, which I love!

So far, so good! I've only used the blender one e so far to make a batch of fruit smoothies. I like the basic features (dial 0-5, pulse, on/off) and the sturdy material. I'm pretty sure the pieces (not the base of course) are dishwasher safe too!

This was a Christmas gift and every time I use it I'm more and more thrilled by it. The quality is amazing, you can tell right out of the box this appliance will last a long time compared to other store bought blenders. The face is metal and not some cheap plastic, the multiple blades are ninja sharp and not just two dull butter knives. There are multiple speeds for the blades which makes it useful for anything you want to make. The highest setting is faster than NASCAR so make sure you're using the handy dandy suction cups on the bottom to stick to the counter! Even a with 3 monstrous boys the big jar makes plenty of smoothies for all of us. The personal cups with their own smaller blade are GENIUS. They are the Keurig version of a blender. 10 out of 10 recommend for everyone.

So far, been loving this blender. It's a lot different from those other smalls ones that most of the times just leaks in the middle of bleeding. I use it alot for making protein shakes and it's blended almost to perfection. I love its level and Button system that alot of other blenders don't have, you don't have to press down or anything, just with a magic of a click you can have it on as long as you need. Overall, it's marvelous piece of machine!

I bought this based on the good reviews on the GE Web site and because of the 2 personal cups. My main problem is that I wish the manual came with some basic guidelines or instructions on how to use the different settings. I'm not very experienced in the kitchen and so far, I've been wasting/ruining a lot of food trying to get the chopping/mixing/blending right. I've finally gotten a decent slushy drink figured out, but beyond that, I'm still lost! I liked the idea of just having the simple knob with 5 settings, but since I don't know how to use them, I would probably have been better off buying a blender with a bunch of different keys like Mix, Blend, Ice Crush, etc. Also, the manual says to press the power button to turn the blender on, but for mine, it's on when you plug it in and off when you unplug it. Overall, this is a pretty expensive experiment for me. I'm hoping I'll figure out how to use it to do the things I want to do. GE could do better at offering some guidelines on how to use the 5 speeds. "Turn the knob to the desired speed" isn't much guidance for people like me who have no idea what speed they need to chop carrots or make salsa or make a smoothie, or make an icy cocktail. Maybe after I use it a little longer, I can post a more positive experience.

This is an amazing blender. The power on it is just as good as brands that cost much much more. Plus the cap on the lid gives you the ability to vent hot liquids without worrying about then going all over the kitchen. And the smoothie cups - they're great! Perfect for throwing in all you need for a healthy on the go drink. (They're also great for making your own soft serve ice cream.) Highly recommend.

Finally, a smaller blender that has the power to make the perfect smoothie. It is much quicker to clean up than our larger blenders and quite frankly does just as good of a job with less mess! It also takes up way less space in our cabinet than our larger blender, which has now been moved to a storage cabinet as we aren't using it anymore.

Good basic blender especially if you plan on juicing up root veggies or similar.
Comes apart reasonably easily and can be put in dishwasher. The main blender is very large and it has smaller cups for blend and run.

This blender did not perform well. The small blades take a long time to chop and when you turn up the speed it pushes everything to the side walls and only blends a small amount in the middle. It took five minutes to blend a smoothie that typically takes one to two minutes. The style is cool and modern and I like the levers and turn dial but I can't recommend until it blends better.

I got this last week and just the aesthetic alone instills confidence. The metallic finish looks awesome and very clean. The pitcher is HUGE and can easily make 4 adult meal shakes. I also love the 5 speed settings. One thing I've found is starting at the fastest speed keeps food from getting down to the bottom due to the force but starting on the slow speed and slowly upping the speed is how it's designed to be used. The horse power is enough for even the most frozen fruits and veggies.

I love that this blender comes with personal size cups, which makes it handy for mixing individual portions to take with me in the morning. I also like that the controls are simple and straightforward, no need for the extra button options many other blenders have. It has on/off button and a pulse button. What more do you need? Great power! My favorite part is that it chops ice with no effort. The cord storage is also a definite plus, I do not like cords showing.
