My new range arrived yesterday and the front left burner will not ignite. It clicks but wont light. The place I purchased it from is suppose to get in touch with GE to have the problem resolved. Not too happy that you purchase a new range and it doesn't work properly.

My Kenmore died, went 20 years. This stove was most like it. Doesn't need that WIFI on it. Getting used to using it. No manual on using it comes with. Luckily I have a computer. Not sure why the grated are raised so high over the gas burners. More gadgets on stoves, more to go wrong. Need more time baking before I can comment on the oven. A basic stove. Looks nice. We will see how many years it will go. Can't believe the cost of appliances today.

II love this range! Controls are just so simple & everything works! It has a self clean option which is way better than steam clean! I didn™€™t need fancy; just needed a really good one! I had one of these about 20 years ago. Gave it to my niece when I moved; it™€™s still working! I™€™ll stay with what works! Plus, I love the white appliances; brightens up my kitchen! So tired of stainless it™€™s ridiculous! Plus the size of this is awesome for me! It does have the WIFI option; might try it!! A bit smaller & so good to work with! SIMPLE!! Thank you!

Poorly designed control panel

basic and functional. However, control panel very dark and difficult to see icons without turning on overhead light from microwave. In addition, having a service call due to temporary buzzing noise coming from control panel while using 2 burners; also notice blinking light when room is totally dark which is coming from behind the control panel. My previous GE stove was similar and I purchased in 2015. Needed a part for that oven which GE discontinued therefore need for new gas range.

I absolutely love my new stove it has all the options I need and some. And I couldn't believe that I can connect my wifi to it so I know when my oven is preheated and when my food is done . And I love the safety options it tells you like your burner is on or your oven is still on. It's also easy to clean and looked great even though my kitchen isn't up to date it's all mint color but I love it. And adding this stove has made my kitchen look so much more up to date.

I basically like the stove. My only complaint is that programming you have to really press hard where I love the fact when you had dials it was so much easier. I just find it very difficult to times to shut it off. I had a service man come down and showed me how to do it even with that it™€™s still not easy.

Very nice gas range and I will probably give it a 5 star when I remember that the knobs to light the front burner are on the far left and far right ---which are the complete opposite of my old one. Love the far left front burner for quick boiling of water. Much easier to keep the top clean and the black grids make it look trendy. Nice easy to read power ON panel. .

The overall aspect of the Range is fairly good, the only thing we're not entirely happy with is the stovetop racks. It is very difficult to use multiple pans of large sizes on the same side, next to impossible to do so.

I am very pleased with the stove and broiler however there is one issue. Older stoves/broilers had an additional "pan', if you will, to be used when broiling steaks, shrimp or hamburgers. The juices/fax would drip through the grate that fit within the "pan" to the pan itself and away from any flame that may cause a fire. There isn't a pan contained within the unit. Additionally if I were to attempt to broil shrimp or any other item the juices/fat would drop to the floor of the oven which doesn't make any sense. SOMETHING IS MISSING.

I like having the storage drawer. Perfect for baking sheets and muffin trays. I like the ease of lighting each burner. No excessive flickering. I love having a cook timer so oven shuts itself off when desired baking time is done, even if you are not there. Prevents over-baking. Oven is very spacious and racks move around easily. Not fond of the black grids over the burners. They are raised too high. Leaves a narrow deeply recessed space between the burner columns. Granted, it can be used to set in a spoon rest and cooking utensils while you cook, but I find it a bit awkward to work with.

Just to clear it out, we ran the oven for about 45 minutes. It really smelled toxic, like burning plastic. We had the fan going, opened windows and doors, and the purifier number hit the roof. I do not like the oven door. It opens too easily. I'm used to a heavier door. The burners come in multi sizes. That's pretty stupid. Especially putting the smaller burner in the back. It did not come with a broiler tray. If I would have realized that sooner, I would have saved my old one. It's okay for what it is. I just think these large appliances are very expensive and not worth the price. Welcome to the world of junk.

My gas Range everything I expect it to be, EXCEPT MY GAS RANGE HAS AN "ELECTRIC " BROILER UNIT. This is Shown or Discribed no where in manual. That being said my broiler and microwave oven can't run at same time. Gas Stoves usually draw less than 2amps for clock and igniter. Plus took 5 months to get RANGE, selling new item not in stock, now same range is $200.00 cheaper.

I purchased the GE Gas range, by reading reviews. I thought I had read the details specification of range. But when it was installed and went to use broiler it was an electric element. Not gas. I tried to broil a steak and I was very disappointed. Second the space between the burners is not usable if you are cooking anything on the range top, too much heat from burner to put you hand there. The one thing I can say is the burners really put out heat the flames are large and you only have to use setting 3 o4 for a very hot flame.
