The delivery men did not even bring the fridge into the house. I know I didn't pay for installation but I would have expected it, at least, being INTO THE HOUSE. I then had to hire 2 neighbor men to install. The fridge, itself, is fine; EXCEPT, it is very loud when it comes on. It's in the laundry room of my house so not disturbing but if it was in my kitchen it would definitely be able to be heard throughout the house. Seems ok other than that. Guess you get what you pay for but to me, being a 79 yr old lady I am disappointed. It was a lot cheaper than the other fancy fridges.

I chose this GE refrigerator to replace our 21 year old GE model. Eight days after installation in our kitchen, a steady leak began from under the refrigerator , through the basement ceiling tiles into our basement. We trapped the falling water, called a plumber who repaired the incorrectly done water connection and left us with an additional bill of $328.82. The plumber encouraged us to contact the seller about the problem Their claims agent agreed to pay us for the plumbing work .refrigerator which is now working well.We really like the new (repaired) refrigerator.

Bad door seal

This refrigerator door pushes the freezer door open when you close it, and if you aren't careful your food will thaw out, and I just bought my refrigerator 4 days ago brand new still had the plastic on it. Who ever designed this GE didn't do a good job on seal design, it should have a much stronger hold, it doesn't matter if you gently close the fridge door the freezer will still pop open, and of course I did not know this was happening and everything at the front of my freezer thawed out, including my 2 containers of ice cream...I am not a happy house wife today !!!!
