Installed it, did one load then went to do the 2nd load and it wouldn't fill. Tried canceling the cycle to start over but every time I press start it goes straight to wash and skips fill. So washing with no water I guess.

We are very happy with the washing machine's performance, and user-friendly controls, with one concern so far. The drum or basket where the clothing is washed is suspended in a way that is very loose, and the machine becomes unbalanced easily, compared to our older machine. I am concerned that it may not last as long as we would like, because of this issue. To wash towels or sheets, you must always use the "bulky items" setting.

I have spent way too much time fighting with the machine, making detailed notes re: every cycle plus had the service person from the store I purchased it from come to the house for a training session and revisited the store to see about an exchange for another model.

So far so good. Washing great, no noise no ™walking™ around. It was leveled to the floor with legs screwed all the way to the fame. No bouncing around as its spins. Can™™t hear the washer from 10 feet away even if I want to. Large capacity big enough for family of 4. Drum is so big that bought a grabber for laundry items placed on the bottom. You can decide how much water to use to have your laundry done the way you want to not the government. Normal cycle run ~50 minutes. Easy to use with 3 knobs. Find a way to do pre-soaking of laundry with Lysol germs & Covid 19 killer with quick rinse & spin function (wish it was there ™pre-soak™) Just load the laundry in, put some Lysol disinfectant directly to the drum on the top of a load & let the machine feel with water, once it™™s full just press the pause button & hold on for 20 minutes. Needs 15+ minutes to disinfect. Then press the start button again & let the machine finish it (rinse & drain) After this you can select your regular wash cycle to wash these items. Basket is solid unpainted stainless steel so nothing to peel off. The agitator is dual function with softener cup on the top of it. Not advisable to use softener instead using Lysol disinfectant is better, more practical & healthier. There is separate spot for bleach in the lower left corner of the machine. That™™s about it. Hope this helps. With light laundries this machine will last probably 20+ years if treated & cared for right. How to level the machine? Easy, only the front 2 legs need to be adjusted to your needs (best to screw them all the way to the frame) & the back legs will adjust & lock automatically after the machine is tilted forward 4-6™ & lowered back to the floor. They will level themselves up to the front legs & locked in so the washer standstill & it™™s stable. Won™™t move, none.

Chose this washer because it wasn't "smart" and I could just set the water level; my last washer didn't even get everything wet. So nice to just set the water level and temperature and push the "on" button. So easy. The run time seems OK too. The agitator limits the load size, but that's an acceptable trade-off for dependability.

Resolution: scheduled and re-scheduled with service dept. only to have them come arrive at our Post Office Box (10 miles Distance from our domicile), take a picture and send it claiming they attempted to service the machine. It is a commercial unit, I was expecting greater things and got underwhelmed. What good is a five year warranty when the service folks don™™t show up for the repair appointment?

Dear GE, I have to tell you that I am very DISsatisfied with this purchase. I read all the instruction diligently before using the washer, following all recommendations. I did not overload the washer, as was always my habit. BUT the dark loads came out with lint all over the clothes. Most of it would not come out with a lint roller, or when I even tried to scratch it off. I methodically had to try various ways to make it work. The only solution was to load a lot less clothes in the washer, and add extra rinse cycle... and this is supposed to be an energy efficient machine! I contacted the business I purchased it from and they are kind enough to take it back with a restocking fee. Needless, to say, I am very disappointed as I expected no issues with a GE product.

I cannot wash a queen size set of flannel sheets without a problem with spin cycle. They get bunched up, uneven, spin cycle makes a terrible noise. I have to stop it, open it, straighten out the sheets and have difficulty getting the washer to start again in the cycle. I have the same problem with a large bath towel. I can't leave the washer running and go very far away from it. I am disappointed. I threw away a four month old Maytag with the same problems when I got this one. This one is better than the Maytag but definitely not as good as I hoped it would be. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bought it for the long warranty. The washer does a good job, but if it gets off balance, it just stops with the lid locked. Unlike previous machines where I was always able to manually rebalance the load. I also requested a paper copy of the manual ) (last December) that was supposed to be available on request, but never received it. I have to restart with the drain and spin cycle.

The washing machine gets off balance too easily. When you push pause it takes too long for the tub to stop in order for the door to unlock. The place to where you put the fabric softener it throws it all over the machine and does not rinse it off.

We are extremely dissatisfied with our GE commercial washer & dryer set. In the first year we had repairs on the washer several times and concerns on the dryer length of time to dry, which I believe had to do with the wetness of the clothes from the washer. The standard motor used is the same size motor as in the regular size and if I had known that I would not have bought this set/model. After less than 2 years we had so many repairs (practically a total rebuild) we were given a new washer. The wetness of the clothes, the loudness, the ability of the washer to handle a normal size load was still unsatisfactory. So much so, that we bought a new washer and dryer after only two and half years of ownership.

So far it works very well. We purchased this washer for a several of reasons: 1. You don't need to hook it to the interment to use it. 2. It has a 5 year warranty. If it lasts at least 5 years trouble free, I will gladly add a 5th star to the review. 3. it is not burdened with any un necessary frills and a features. Those just add to the likelihood something will break. Also it does not have soft button electronic controls, again these are just more things to malfunction.

A salesperson sold us on this washer as the model we wanted was unavailable. I can't believe this is considered "commercial quality." It only washes the lightest load well. A single bath rug comes out sopping wet - whether washing with other items or by itself. We've tried all combinations - Auto water, Heavy load, extra Drain & Spin, washing more/less together...it's just a piece of garbage. Calling the repair department once more, but I would definitely not buy this model again.

I purchased the washer because I wanted one that filled with water and to replace a high-efficiency machine, that was performed so poorly that I avoided using the machine. The only issue I have with the new washer if how loud the machine when running a cycle. It definitely seems a "commercial" type of machine, but it works, and that is what matters!!

Great product. I do half the loads of wash. Clothes are very clean. A little pricy , but well worth it. My old washer was atlest 26 years old and the space it fit in was small compareds to the newer washers, so we had limited space for a new one. Selection was very low. This washer was the largest for the space and I love it. If anyone prefers a top load vs a front load hands down this is the best on the market.
