I got this as a gift for Christmas. I was so excited to have a cordless vacuum unfortunately this has been the worst vacuum Ive used. The most important part of a vacuum is to pick up the pet hair my own hair and dust around the house. All that this vacuum does is push all the hair around so that I can use another vacuum to pick it up. To add insult to injury that fact that I have to reach my hand into the vacuum dirt container to put it in the garbage is ridiculous. I get that now they have a compressor that can do this but for the price it should already have that. Im so disappointed in this vacuum and have now just been using my shark vacuum with a cord.

And I still do except the dust bin cover broke recently and Im thinking were going to have trouble getting a replacement for it. We will try and we are using duct tape in the meantime.

First time I used it the motor was surging and pulsing. I downloaded the diagnostic app and scanned it. Defective suction motor I didnt have a receipt handy so I was told there would be no warranty assistance. Trash

Initially I was thoroughly impressed with its performance. But cut to 6 months later and the performance started to dwindle. Keep in mind i changed the filters religiously and cleaned the dust cup often. Then we started noticing weird sounds coming from the powerhead. That appears to be broken as well. Then the dust cup broke. For the money i paid for this i wish i went elsewhere.

Suction was actually pretty decent as long as it was emptied out after each use and the filters were kept cleaned. Cordless vacuums tend to struggle with suction but I had no issues with this one. I loved the different modes. Turbo mode works the best but is a bit too strong for some of my rugs so it was nice to have an option for weaker suction. Overall I have really enjoyed this vacuum. Sadly after having this for less than 6 months the telescopic head broke making it only useful as a handheld vacuum with the smaller attachments. As pricy as this is I was really disappointed for it to break so quickly and expected it to hold up better.

I bought this for the convenience of a cordless vacuum. However it is constantly clogging any dust on the filter causes the motor to strain and stop working the spinning brushes only work intermittently. I would never recommend this.

My husband and I upgraded from a basic Dirt Devil vacuum. In comparison the LG is SO light and easy to maneuver. It picks up cat hair amazingly and the universal nozzle seems to work wonders on our wooden floor rug and furniture. We do wish we could have gotten it with the hardwood floor nozzle but we can purchase that separately. One battery works fine for us as we live in a 1BR apartment. Our only issue was that FedEx seemed to lose the package which resulted in over a two week delay. However LG helped us to communicate with FedEx and they ultimately were able to locate the package.

Our vacuum was great in the beginning other than it is very hard to empty. After about 3 months the vacuum would pulse between low and high speed and would turn off. Battery was fully charged. Tried another battery. After about one minute running it would go back to pulsing and then shut off.

Simple elegant design. Easy to use. The low setting seems weak. Turbo model is ok. Wish the performance can be stronger but then the price will be higher.

I hate this vacuum and wish that I had returned it when I first bought it. The plastic clip which is supposed to keep the dust bin closed always opens - with dust and dirt going everywhere. It is so cheaply made The vacuum will not stand on its own has to be in the stand. Suction power is OK but nothing to write home about. I expected a lot more for the price I paid for this vacuum it is a huge disappointment

I got this vacuum exactly one year ago. For animal fur and dust it is great but it has never picked up a piece of kitty food or tracked litter. It just scoots it around on the hardwood floors and tile floors. I tried to see if there was a way to set the height but I couldnt locate any information on that so I still have to sweep hard floors and use large bulky vacuum on rugs carpets. If there is a way to adjust the height of the floor brush please advise and Ill happily change the review after it picks up more than the microscopic stuff.

I bought this stick vacuum about 5 months ago and its been a great purchase. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with both carpet and hardwood floors and this handles both easily. It allows me to clean up messes quickly and is lightweight so Im not sweating/exhausted nearly as much as I would be with other bulky corded vacuums. Also I LOVE that you dont have to hold down a trigger to keep it on looking at you Dyson. All you do is press a button once and it turns on so theres no worrying about hand cramps. The instructions for cleaning the vacuum are very easy and emptying the canister is a breeze. It came with a stand which makes storage super easy. Overall a solid stick vacuum for general day-to-day cleaning.
A few cons: It doesnt do as great of a job when pulling it back toward you. It tends to just drag/push things around when doing a backward motion and I then have to realign the vacuum to pick it up when pushing forwards. However since its so lightweight and easy to use I honestly dont mind doing a couple of extra passes. I dont think it has as strong of suction compared to larger corded vacuums but it fits my needs for my apartment. The other con is all the plastic that was used in the packaging. There was so much plastic Certainly not great for the environment.

The LG stick sweeper that I so researched and finally purchased continues to sit...in pieces among various cardboard containers waiting to be PUT TOGETHER charged and used. While parts were identified I found NO specific instructions. I printed a few pictures of the completed machine which frankly has not helped me at all in my dilemma. The only thing that keeps me from returning the machine is being able to get all the parts back in their proper places in the box.

I am so happy with the A9 cordless vacuum. It picks up cat fur easily something all my prior vacuums have really struggled with its lightweight and it is so easy to clean. I cant recommend this one enough. It also charges quickly and stores in such a small space. Absolutely fantastic

Ive had this only 6 months and it keeps losing suction. Its has incredible suction then just losses it and goes back and forth. Ive cleaned it replaced the filter everything. Another down side is it doesnt have a valve to stop whats coming in from going back out.

This design is good light weight for people with back pain. However this vacuum is not powerful at all I clean after each use per instruction but all it picks up is fine dirt/dust. Any hair short or long on the floor wood floors collects underneath but does not get sucked in at all. Anything bigger than fine dirt or dust has to be gone over sever times and slowly or wont get picked up even when I use the turbo feature. The charge last about 10 mins. of vacuuming and on turbo only last about 5.
I cannot recommend this vacuum. Too expensive for what little it does.

After only a few months of very light use the cheap plastic tab that hold the cannister closed has snapped off. After having purchased many other LG electronics and appliances I really expected better Already I have to resort to duct tape to make this vacuum work

I would have given this vacuum at least 4 stars but now its just a one since it has stopped working after 4 months. My battery is showing that it is charging but will not even go above one bar for 2 days now. Im not even going to bother calling customer service for help because from the looks of other reviews there is no point. I would not bother with this one and find something better.

We made an investment when buying this LG cordless vacuum. I have always wanted a cordless one and thought this would be a reputable product. It charged fine sucked up dirt fine. Then all of a sudden the dirt began to not show up in the canister It was trapped in between the top panel that is supposed to push down the dirt and the top inner part of the canister There was literally no way to get it out I have never let the canister get full I empty it frequently and clean the filters. This is purely a design flaw. Im so disappointed in this machine. LG is losing my business.

I was so impressed with the vacuum features and how well it worked to get hair and dust up at first. Six months after purchase the beater brush started making a rattling noise. When my husband took it apart to investigate he found that one of the screws had sheared off and so there was no way to use the beater brush. I cant believe that considering the price tag that LG cant afford to use good high quality screws to hold it together. Overall super disappointed because now I have no way to vacuum my carpet.

I bough this vacuum on 11/27/2021. It was a great vacuum for a few months. I registered it the same day I bought it. First. Nowhere in the registration process did it tell me Id need the receipt to get it serviced. Second the head began to make a noise about the end of Jan and is getting worse. I will have to buy a new head because I no longer have the receipt. What started out as a great buy went south quick. I could have bought something less expensive and probably would have lasted longer.
