This dryer has been nothing but problems since the day I purchased it. I miss my $350 25 year old dryer. First of all the sensor thinks it is smart. It is NOT. I will go to my office after starting a load of towels only to walk back into the laundry room an hour later and the dryer has STOPPED on its own. This happens dozens of times each month wasting precious hours of my time. Frustrating doesnt even cover it. Secondly it consistently throws off a Clean Filter error despite the filter hose on back of unit filter unit inside dryer being clean. Tonight I am trying to get laundry done for a trip . . . And I am without a dryer because THIS dryer thinks its filter needs cleaning - which it doesnt. I am actually drying my clothes with a hair dryer so they can be packed. Its 2024 LG Why doesnt your dryer work?? Lastly - This unit is just consistently unreliable. I stopped until the app about 3 weeks after getting the unit years ago. Just unreliable. I have wasted so much time on this dryer that thinks it is smarter than it really is is isnt smart at all - so when I see the words efficient reliable and time saving - it laughable.

Bought DLEX 9000V dryer accompanying washer Styler kick washer and under storage drawer the whole shabang Nov. 2020. Two and a half yrs. later the dryer MOTOR is fried Unreal No unusual situations no moves etc. I talked to appliance repair shop and now paying 1/2 the original cost to have it fixed They also said LG is poor when it comes to reliability always have calls on it. Lesson learned no more LG after this.

Love how big this dryer is. Love the Bluetooth capabilities. But just 9 months old and it quit working. Supposedly the tech said it is the installers fault as the terminal was broken which then caused the controller to fail as well. Glad to have bought through Costco as they have a 2 year warranty however the issue was misdiagnosed the first time tech came out and so we are 2 weeks without a dryer and probably another 1-2 weeks until they can come back out and fix it. Which means I am bringing laundry for a family of 7 to laundromat.

Had this dryer for 3 years. Does king size blankets and bulky items. Drys in half the time. My only complaint is the door to the dryer with doing bulky items such as the blankets it doesnt open all the way why? And the coin slide on the top is annoying too and unnecessary to me. Those are the only flaws I find on this dryer. Other than that it drys fantastic.

2.5 years in and having to replace parts

This dryer has been a solid dryer until the last three months. Weve owned it since we purchased it new in Dec. 19 from Lowes. Over the last three months Ive had to change the blower fan twice because the first blower fan wore out the E-Clip wasnt installed from the manufacturer and caused it to wear out. Since replacing it not knowing it needed a E-Clip it has worn out again. I then called a local retailer that sells LG they were able to come out and correct the matter. When I submitted an email requesting service LG responded with and email which included a service company in my area which Ive never heard or could find online upon calling them their message machine said they dont service LG any longer. What a joke We own the washer and dryer set happy with the washer not happy with the dryer and would not recommend it to family or friends. LG service has been very disappointing and owning all appliances and TVs that are LG Im hoping we dont have other issues down the road as I have no faith in LGs customer service.

Weve had this washer installed almost a month ago now and I am very happy with it. First the capacity is great. Its very efficient since we dont need to run as many individual loads - now we can run just one. Although we are very careful not to overfill it its better to run more than one. I was surprised just how helpful it is to have the bright LED light in the drum. It saves any socks etc. from being left behind. The only gripe that I did have was with that this washer and matching dryer didnt automatically turn on its Wi-Fi and connect to the network and ThinQ App. But after uninstalling and reinstalling about 10 times during one of those times it was manually connected it downloaded a software firmware update - and now they connect just fine whenever they are turned on. Its a bit silly to turn on the machines from the phone since youre there loading them - but what I really appreciate is the app notification that the cycle is finished. This little feature has helped reduce the time spent in a day doing laundry to just a few efficient hours now that I can load the dryer as soon as the washer is finished and the same with the dryer. It really has helped a lot

I am thankful that we can wash and dry large loads. The dryer even dries a king sized blanket on one setting of 41 minutes. I never have to tumble the load again to dry even with towels. I would make sure that your space is large enough for this set.

Just got the set a month ago and am super happy so far They are huge and can fit a ton of clothes. The washer spin cycle doesnt shake the house and both wash and dry so much faster than my old Bosch set. Just need to get the sidekick washer next to do small quick loads My only complaint is that the app isnt that great. You have to enable it with every load or you have no control. Id love to be able to tell it to do a quick steam cycle from downstairs when Ive left clothes in the dryer that need folding. Not a biggie though pretty novel idea.

Superb Dryer with many options

We have been using this dryer for over 9 months and simply love it. The sensors properly dry all of our clothes without over-drying. The wifi notifications are handy as well. The only issue is that the dryer sits on top of the drawer-stand and it wobbles slightly. It is difficult to stabilize the feet of the dryer without detaching from the drawer and starting over again. Something I dont want to attempt.

We bought this after struggling with our new houses upgraded dryer option for a couple of years. Our old dryer was terrible didnt dry the clothes and left wrinkles. After much research we settled in this one and are not at all disappointed. This dryer can take a huge load and quickly dry it. The lint filter took a bit to get used to but its easy to check and clean. No issues at all and we would buy again.

I have been using my new LG washer and dryer for a month. So happy with it. We did have to wait 12 weeks for delivery - totally understandable with inventory issues.

Hi-Tech Dryer with some major quality issues

Purchased in June of 2019 it did a great job until it lost drying power - first repair in April - new Thermistor second repair in May dryer was deemed a fire hazard due to cracked dryer drum the third repair in July - still waiting for parts and problem resolution.

I have owned this dryer for 1 year. My wife and I have been very happy with the capacity and features especially the wrinkle care option. To be fair I purchased this when it was marked down significantly. The cost would have been prohibitive otherwise. However this is the best dryer I have ever owned. Hopefully it will last for many years to come

I have always owned Whirlpool laundry suites but when my two year old Whirlpool Washer and Dryer needed to be replace I decided to purchase the LG DLEX9000v dryer. I have never owned a LG product before and I am very impressed with the sleek design large capacity stainless steel drum and WiFi connectivity. The dryer is beautiful and with its large capacity I can easily dry my king size comforter in 50 minutes. The dryer has many different drying selections such as delicate normal towel bedding etc. It is so easy to remove the lint after each load. The LG Thin Q notifies me through my phone when the dryer has completed its cycle. I love this dryer and I definitely buy LG again.

I bought the Washer Dryer Styler suite from Costco about 2 months ago. The washer works really well. Love the fact that it can accommodate a kingsized comforter. My only issue is that it was not installed correctly and it vibrates a lot. A technician came by one to level the washer and it still vibrates some. Second appointment with a technician is today. I hope we will not need a third appointment to get this right. The suite is expensive. Time will tell if it was worth the price.

I replaced an older dryer with this LG and cant believe all of the features Beautiful design and mega capacity. Setting up wifi was a challenge- directions were outdated and connection attempts were far too many.

Pros: Huge drum large items can toss around without bunching up so they dry even. Fairly quiet. There is a stationary platform available to dry shoes. Lots of features if you are in to that. Cons: Buttons are unresponsive to finger tip had to use my entire thump and hold it there. Pushing harder does not help just have to get some more skin area on the button. Steam feature requires a water line hookup that makes install more complicated.
