I bought this about a week and a half ago after stalking it for a year. My review may change since its only been a week but here are my thoughts so far:
Pros: *Quiet even at highest speed it is quieter than most fans
*Gentle breeze this is more of a continuous soft breeze vs a hard burst of air
*Lots of options can change speed direction and spread of air flow. I reset it to auto during the day
*Attractive and safe design
*Remote control magnetically attaches to base
Cons:
*Price expensive
*Heavy only an issue if you plan on moving it around a lot
Unknown:
*Air purification havent had it long enough to judge have noticed less dust in room

Ive been using this air purifier for over 3 weeks now in a small bedroom. Feature wise it is magnificent 3 different types of sensors for different sized particles. 3 ways to control the unit top of unit remote control application. The LG ThinQ app is great and allows you to view particle temperature and humidity graphs. Shuffles air around the room nicely and is a decent fan especially in turbo mode. So far I love it

This is the most advanced aesthetic and capable air purifier Ive ever owned. Unboxing and setup was intuitive. Connecting to wifi took some work which may have been partially user error but once set up the ThinQ app lets you and anyone else you allow control the thing with your phones or tablets which is VERY convenient when the remote isnt handy.
Just using the device as a fan is satisfying. It is powerful has three dispersal patterns as in wide-gusty wind for room-cooling direct focused air and indirect circulation for winter that moves air from the top of the unit in a way that doesnt chill. It also has various degrees of oscillation so you can customize it for different areas.
Thats before talking about the filtration on this air filter Im no expert in particulates but the readout tells you lots of information more easily accessed on the ThinQ menus about all the particles its capturing in multiple size ranges. It also gives you a general readout like Good air quality. It is sensitive enough that one person taking a puff from a vape pen will change the readout from Good to Moderate for some time.
If you are so inclined you can infer from the readouts how much of the filtered bits might be dust pollen or whatever else based on how much junk its filtered in any given nanometer size range which could be useful in telling where your in-home air filter is failing.
There are numerous other features like temperature and humidity readouts sleep timers etc. It has a clean futuristic look and feels sturdy and well-made unlike a lot of brands that go for a similar aesthetic without the performance to back it up.
Absolutely thrilled. Pricey. Worth it.

Living in California with dry dust and smoke I looked for an air purifier for two years and was so glad to get a Puricare as it is made by LG a brand whose technology I can trust versus a brand Ive never heard of. It gives me all the info I want to know in the display from the particulate size to the quality of the air in an easy color coded way. The UV Nano is so important for killing bacteria in the fan blades so I never have to worry about doing more than the regular cleaning. Its so super quiet to begin with and even quieter on sleep mode. I keep the slim remote bedside in case I want to change settings during the night. Love it--its fantastic in every way

I bought this product about two weeks after my baby was born because I was feeling the baby room air was not fresh and the baby was having a lit bit of hard time sleeping.

Fans come in all shapes and sizes nowadays. Few competitors create a product as chic as this one. The connectivity features are spot on and a must if one is sensitive to allergens. The HEPA filtration shows the quality of the air in the room the item is positioned. On a side note the sound it makes on lower speeds is very similar to a white noise machine. I find myself dozing off as I listen.

This fan is perfect for my home. The airflow is cool and it really works well to cool down the whole living room. It also works well to purify the air and remove odors that waft in from our kitchen. I really like the convenience of wifi capabilities and that it has a remote. I would highly recommend this fan.

Pros - Very quiet and it looks impressive.

Love the smart home connectivity and mobile app features. The appliance is quite nice looking. I was worried it would look bulky but the design is rather sim and unobtrusive. I love that this provides a breeze much like a fan but without the noise and is instead a breeze of clean air

I cannot talk this item up enough. The fan settings are perfect. Its actually great for bedroom for a sound machine as well We are always hot at night so the fan setting is really nice to use. It comes with a remote that you can choose different settings. Also filter at bottom as well to make sure air is filtered too. It has LED screen showing settings on tower as well which is very helpful. However you do need a lot of space for it. It is a big tower. It takes up a corner in our medium size bedroom.

Best air-purifying system weve ever had The ease of control with the remote is outstanding and has multiple settings and fan speeds to choose from. Its sleek design is elegant and complements the room decor as if it was a piece of sculpture. Very quiet operation. Were so impressed with the almost 100 purification and can notice the difference in air quality right away. It also has a reusable washable filter which is very important as a money-saver.

This is a product that I wish we had gotten long ago as we are getting so much use out of it. It is sleek and sturdy we have it tucked in a corner so its out of the way but can still do its job. We put this in our family room as its the room that gets the most use. You can customize the settings to the strength and fan speed you want but I like to keep it in Auto so it determines that setting is best. If you turn the fan up it will also help cool the room down. The screen will show your air quality so you can actually see it improving as it runs. If we open a window the air quality often jumps from good to moderate but will then resolve back to good. In general the air in the room feels cleaner and we feel allergies and irritants less. Another great feature is odor removal. We tested this out while making tacos and then again while making bacon and it helps to keep the air moving and the odors to dissipate. I keep the remote close by to access all the features

Seems like a nice unit. Like that you can set up with the app and set everything from there. Also like the auto option which will raise or lower the speed based on the air quality. I also have it on a schedule to run certain times during the day. It seems to make a difference with my allergies. I have noticed that there is not near as much dust on everything as there used to be. The only thing missing from it is the option to have it turn off if you are not home.

This air purifier/fan is very nice looking and very quiet. The unit is tall but doesnt take up much space. It conveniently comes with a remote and has a panel that lets you know what the air quality is. We have been extremely happy with how well the fan works to keep us cool. If you have been considering this air purifier/fan I highly recommend it. You definitely wont be sorry

This is very sleek looking and doesnt take up much space. Make sure you have an area where the unit can be placed three feet or more from the wall so that nothing blocks the intake of air. Putting it together was very simple. I just removed packing material and a base plate to put on the bottom. The base plate is packaged in a piece of cardboard that looks like packing material so make sure you dont throw it away. The controls are easy to use. There are multiple fan speeds and an auto and turbo fan setting. The air output has three modes. There is a display on the front of the unit that tells you what the air quality is and various other settings that you have set up. I would definitely recommend this product. Not only does it purify the air it keeps you nice and cool. I am so happy to have this.

LG PuriCare AeroTower Air Purifying Fan with True HEPA and UVnano LED is really beautiful. I know were talking about an air purifier fan all in one but its quite large and totally cool since its a piece of art in the room.
Its really quiet when running were able to have it in the same room as a TV and its not disruptive. It comes with a super simple remote thats magnetic We can just attach to the side so it doesnt get lost but hitch is convenient with our 4 kids.
The display is customizable so you can set it and forget it. You can easily connect to Wi-Fi and then download an App too only a couple minutes to set up. The ThinQ App gives another way to set up a schedule or simply change settings.
There are several options for air flow which helps when we wants to easily move to another room. And its great to be able to run a fan to cool the room down while also purifying the air. For the various air flows theres direct for vertical flow which could be used while stationary or oscillating up to 190 diffused for indirect circulation from the top only and wide for distributing air in larger spaces this options worked awesome in our large game room. It also has ten fan speeds a bonus for mama here which is a turbo setting and an oscillation setting to increase air flow.
Weve noticed less dust and an overall cleaner air in the rooms weve tested in. We have lets 2 dogs and a bunny and the air feels fresher even helping to remove pet orders. Plus mentioned kids earlier- Ive placed it in my sons room set on auto and it really helped freshen up the room. Its a total win for our family.

I have always preferred contemporary styling in my home and this fits the bill beautifully. Everyone comments on it. Although I love it for the aesthetics I really love it for its performance. It works quietly effectively to not only keep my place cool but it purifies the air also. No need for a separate appliance anymore Simple to use.

The LG PuriCare AeroTower Air Purifying Fan with True HEPA and UVnano LED is an interesting product that crams in a lot of functions in an interesting design.
Unpacking the product is a bit involved. The box it comes in is a bit heavy but not bulky. First bit of advice - it might be easier to locate the fan in the room where it will be used instead of relocating it later. Easier to handle it while in the box. I ended up laying the box on the side and sliding out the product. This made it easier to unbox. There are quite a few items that need to be removed installed twisted into place etc. This includes plastic wraps card board tape etc. all of which are intended to protect the fan from damage and scratches prior to use.
The instructions provided are not easy to figure out and need to be written better. It took me about 10 - 15 minutes to get it all ready to go. The bulk of the time was spent deciphering and understanding the instructions. At one point I almost broke the fan and pulled out the plastic vanes/blades by force. I was supposed to take the tape off the plastic vane which extends out when in use but I did not figure this out from the provided instructions. Glad I did not force the issue and break the fan even before I used it. The actual setup work should take no more than a couple of minutes once the instructions are understood.
There is no denying that the unit looks different - not bad looks but different. More of abstract art than traditional or contemporary design. And this is the one major decision you have to make - where do you place it so that it does not stick out like a sore thumb. The instructions state that it is best to place it about 3.5 feet away from a wall so sticking it and hiding it in a corner is not the solution.
Second recognize that this is more a air purifier and circulator and less a fan. Yes it has some fan like capabilities especially in direct mode. Combine the direct mode with oscillation and one can consider it a fan when you close to it.
The unit comes with a remote that can be used to control it but I put it away. Did not want to lose one more thing and then spend time looking for it. There is also an app that can be downloaded to your smartphone to manage the fan but again I have enough apps on my phone and did not care to install one to manage the fan. There are physical touch capacitive buttons on the top of the fan and I chose to use them instead of the remote or app. The challenge is to remember what the buttons do and the combinations that activate the various capabilities of the fan. Maybe I will end up installing the app in the future but I have kept it simple for now.
As for the functional performance it is a quiet/silent air purifier when the air quality is good. The fan kicks up a couple of notches when the air quality gets poor and the fan can be heard clearly. At lower speed settings and when the air quality is good the fan noise is barely heard. The bright unobtrusive LED display on the front middle provides a summary readout of the quality although I suspect the mobile app provides even more detail. For me the summary readout is adequate.
I have another air purifier from a different company and I will see how the two compare after some time of use. Too early to comment and compare the two.
A couple of items to be aware of - the unit is large and more heavy than it needs to be in my opinion. I suspect the weight is added to make the tall unit stable. The design may not always go well with its surroundings or work for your taste but this is highly individual. The instructions for setup could be better....as I shared I almost broke the plastic vane after misunderstanding the instructions. I have to wonder if these plastic retractable vanes will attract dust over time but will have to wait and see what happens.

This air purifier is AMAZING. My wife and I really like so much so that we are considering getting another 1 or 2 for different parts of the house. The best feature we like is how the fins can be adjusted so as to diffused or direct the air so its a built in fan but with filtered air.

This air purifier is very quiet and has a lot of very nice technological features and settings. Takes a little bit of reading and trial and error but once it is set up it is very easy to use. I like how it tells you your air quality and will change modes automatically. It is very quiet and I dont even realize it is running It is very expensive and pretty large but the design is nice and still looks good despite its size. Not sure if it really helps with air quality or not. I think it is too early to tell on that and will take more time during the peak allergy season for me.

First of all it works very well and is very quiet. I had to move a couple of times to get the maximum coverage in my living space. The aesthetics of it doesnt really go with my decor ad it looks somewhat futuristic but I understand why its built that way. I really like it and would recommend it to anyone.

Setting the air purifier up was super easy it is on the heavier side. This air purifier/fan is amazing. It comes with a magnetic remote that stays on the side of the air purifier or you can download the app which I prefer. The app is easy to use it was easy to set up the device in the app. I like that I can control it without having to be home. I can set up a schedule to run it all from the app. When setting it up it has a QR code on the device and youre supposed to scan it but it was way too small so I had to search it up. On the app I can see the temperature in my home and the humidity which I really love. I like that it has multi-airflow. You can easily switch the airflow and turn up the speed. I like that you can make the airflow directly towards you or make it go all around. It has an odor removal and it works great. It has a screen which lets you know the speed and air quality in your home. Another thing I really like is that its quiet kind of like a white noise machine Its honestly my favorite air purifier. I would definitely recommend it.

If you are looking for a really awesome fan and air purifier combo this is by far the product for you. The LG. Puricare UV Nano is the by far the best quality you could ask for from the pure silence that you can hear a pin drop and the ultra sleek futuristic look I love every detail on this beauty down to the magnetic remote control holder and easy to change air filter. I was pleasantly surprised by the appearance and durability of this fan - looks thoughtfully placed and designed vs. being an odd accessory to a room and has some heft to it that prevents it from appearing flimsy or looking cheap. On a functional note it was very easy to set up and has worked great thus far - especially love the included remote so that I can control it from the other side of the room. Highly recommend overall

We bought this at Costco as it was on sale we were originally looking at the Air Doctor unit and had one ordered. Then we saw the design and performance of this thing and there was no looking back We have it set in auto and whenever we are cooking it turns in high to help remove any smells like bacon hamburgers fish Highly reccomend it

Our home is dusty Im not sure why weve done everything we can think of replaced carpets duct cleaning etc but still so much dust.
