Have had unit for a few weeks now..... and dont even notice it. Like the style. Work very quietly and does what it is supposed to do - keep the air fresh over a large area of open room living room kitchen breakfast room dinning room and indoor patio. Could not ask for more.
Only confusing thing when purchasing the unit was the difference between the U9CV2B and the U9CV1C - no once could give a concise clear answer as to why the price difference - UV light being the key as we found out.

I purchased one for my summer home because of the heavy pollen problem in the Spring. It worked wonders so when I returned to my southern home and the Red Tide was high and dead fish smell I purchased another unit and it did the trick..

The design is tall at 45 inches and heavy at 27 lbs. making it a tad difficult to move around. I personally like the design but may not fit into everyones home decor. I have tested 4 other air purifiers from different manufacturers and this is the one I moved into my family room. It is very quiet but powerful if need be and effective at cleaning the air. Simple use/setup and ease of filter replacement with 10-year motor warranty all add up to make it a very nice option in the crowded purifier field - and I recommend.
Unit was nicely packaged. Just pull up outside box remove wrapping from around filter and fan blades in the towers and plug it in. Make sure you check the packing though as the base for the unit is taped to the top foam packing I had to dig it out. I already had LG ThinQ app installed for another device so just clicked add new device and followed directions adding to wifi was easy too. Apps main screen shows air quality/ and whether unit is on/off shows room temp and humidity. You can control mode wide/diffusion/direct fan speed rotation set schedule display brightness and turn UV on/off. I found the app to be easily navigated and very easy setting up schedules on/off times.
All the units physical controls are on the top of the towers controlling on/off fan speed mode auto fan speed and rotation 45 60 90 140 degrees or stop. Certain buttons have dual purposes if pressed for 3 seconds or more.
Handheld remote is included as well. You can control on/off fan speed mode info on base screen Turbo auto fan speed rotation and sleep timer. There are dual functions here as well using long press of 2 seconds or more controlling continuously change fan speed product sound and display brightness. The handheld stores by magnet on the side of the unit.
The unit seems to have very good sensors and as molecule numbers are continually changing as we go about our day.. The unit is in our family room which has an open wall to our kitchen so it is influenced greatly by what/how we are cooking. We have a convection oven and it really affects air quality when using it to fry something as opposed to baking etc. I have mentioned on other purifier reviews that I wonder how many cooking particles I have breathed in over my lifetime as when I grew up everything was fried in an open skillet on the stove. In addition to showing micron levels base unit screen changes color green = good PM10 of 54 or less and a PM2.5 and PM1.0 of 12 or less yellow = moderate PM10 of 55 to 154 and a PM2.5 and PM1.0 of 13 to 35 orange = unhealthy PM10 of 155 to 254 a PM2.5 of 35 to 55 and a PM1.0 of 36-55 and red = poor PM10 of 255 or more PM2.5 of 56 or more and a PM1.0 of 56 or more
This is the quietest unit I have used so far even exceeding my prior favorite Levoit 400S unit and is rated for 818 sq ft.
Documentation states it has a HEPA filtration system eliminating up to 99.97 of fine dust and allergens. Unique to LG it also has UVnano LED technology. Using UV light it is supposed to help keep the fan blades clean of bacteria killing 99.9 while running. Replacement filter is listed at $99 on LG site.
It has a unique way of oscillating as the entire unit moves back and forth on the supplied base that you must attach. Interested to see if any issues over time.
There is also an option to lock the units controls which my youngest very inquisitive grandson wont be happy about. But its too tall for him to access the top controls anyway so maybe Ill just hide the remote.
1-year warranty with 10 years on motor if registered.
Between the app device and remote control suffice it to say you can set it up exactly - running it when and how youd like. Highly recommend

This purifier has a lot of features but was easy to setup. It has three ways to control it from the tower remote or app. It was much taller than I was expecting about 4 feet and has a really sleek and modern design that looks futuristic. Its quiet covers a good area 818 sq ft and is effective. I prefer using the auto setting so its stays on all day. Its also nice to be able to check the air quality. I wanted to see if this would help with my allergies which tends to get worse at night. Ive not seen as much dust in the air so far it seems to get the job done. The only con that comes to mind would be the size of the unit its rather large.

I got this unit because of my daughter. She has significant problems with air quality from dust and seasonal allergies from pollen and mold. I needed a unit with the ability to clean air effectively in large areas of our house. This unit is quiet yet effective and made an immediate noticeable improvement in our indoor air quality.

I LOVE this purifying fan First this fan looks so sleek very very modern looking It isnt an eye sore like most fans. It is very simple to use and even on the lowest setting it works amazing I love the air quality reader too. Overall this fan just rocks works great looks great AND its very quiet

I ordered on line and when it arrived I was surprised at the size. Its fairly tall but i also thrilled with it. So as its on as a fan it sucks in the surrounding air and purifies it to disperse back out in the room. It has an UV mode which will kill any bacteria as it comes through the system. . Also has a magnetic remote storage on the side. all in all a very cool appliance It does exactly what it says. Got in a large open room and its perfect. Btw I love LG products and own several. Its a brand I trust.

I am extremely happy with the performance of the LG PuriCare AeroTower Air Purifying Fan with True HEPA and UVnano LED. It has really improved the air quality in our home the last several weeks.
One of my daughters has allergies especially during the changing of seasons and once I added the LG PuriCare AeroTower Air Purifying Fan with True HEPA and UVnano LED to our living quarters I could definitely see a changeI never expected such a drastic difference.
Once I had a moment to experiment more with the functions in the app I preferred it in Auto mode and it doesnt automatically go to sleep mode when it is dark. Its super quiet when its on auto mode I can barely hear it.
The LG PuriCare AeroTower Air Purifying Fan with True HEPA and UVnano LED is very modern and sleek I love how the remote is magnetic and can be attach to the side so it doesnt get lost.
This is a fantastic purifier and extremely sleek so it blends in seamlessly where ever you place it. I highly recommend the

LGs Puricare air purifying tower is one of the best looking and practical air purifiers one can buy First off the blade-less design of the tower is very sleek and modern. It is a bit larger than other air purifiers but it definitely helps to improve air quality throughout the house. Some of the features I love are the WiFi compatibility and the remote that comes with it. Both these features make this fan incredibly practical and easy to use. The fan speed is highly adjustable and there are 3 different modes. Even on a high fan speed I can barely hear the tower operating its really quiet It can easily adjust the humidity levels in any room and whenever I want to turn it off I can use the app or the remote. The app that connects is also amazing there are tons of features and settings such as temperature and humidity levels.

First of all I want to bring your attention to a very stylish and unique design of this air tower. It looks absolutely stunning in our living room and just adding some extra points to our inter design.second point it works in silence it took me some time to find out if its actually working of course on a highest blowing settings it produces tiny noise but its barely noticeable as well was not disturbing t ll I am the one who is easily to be stressed out when interment around me noisy.
Back to the main qualities - all my family admit that we breath much better and quality of air significantly increased since we have this LG air tower purifier. I feel like my allergic sinus having a great relief once I am at home as well as it helps my kids grow breathing fresh air without any germs and allergens.
Its so easy to install and set up as well as control with remote from any place in the house Definitely a must have. Cant be more happy with this product

A little bit of a challenge to figure out all of the different settings. The box says wifi on it but there is no wifi on my unit.
Fan is very gentle and can be directed upward so its not blowing on you. Unit is very quiet.
I thought my home was dustier than what the unit says. Im in pretty good shape so it shouldnt have to work too hard.

I received this recently to try. I was really happy with this fan. It was really easy to assemble. The fan is pretty quiet. It also has a lot of air flow which I really like. I also like the options with the fan. I really like because tells you the air quality for the room that its in. This fan cooled my whole big room really fast

The fan/air purifier is really tall but is sleek and doesnt stick out. There are so many optional settings and is extremely quiet. My favorite thing is that the remote control is magnetic to the tower. It has a timer which is awesome and it alerts you of poor air quality. The base keeps the unit of of yours floor.

I got this air purifier a few weeks ago and it has worked fantastic. You can definitely tell that the filter works and is easy to replace/clean. The screen makes it very easy to use and the fan built in is an added bonus. If you want a high quality air purifier than this is the product for you

Overall this is a solid product. I really enjoy the bladeless fan as I have little kids and it is much safer than a fan with spinning blades. The rotation feature on the fan seems a bit clunky and doesnt rotate smoothly but aside from that I have had no other issues with this product. It has multiple settings for directing airflow as well as speed. It has UV air purifying technology to clean the air in addition to circulation. It connects to your smartphone so you can control it over WiFi which is a nice feature. It is a bit heavy so its not as portable as a typical household fan.

I absolutely love this air purifier It is by LG and includes an excellent working fan with true Hepa which is used to capture dust or allergens. The UV Nano led feature kills bacteria and germs on the fan blades. The size is perfect and the design and color look great in any room i place it in. I currently keep it in my my bedroom and let it run throughout the night on a timer that i set myself using the remote provided. I notice overall i sleep better throughout the night and my room no longer gets stuffy and since it is summer time where i live i can sleep in a nice cool temperature provided by the purifying fan. I can set the fan to a level of 1 through 10 or even Turbo which feels amazing. The air flow can be directed however you want it to be by changing the directions of the fan blades you can choose the spin angle just right for you Multi- air flow and it can definitely handle a larger room unlike most other purifiers ive tried in the past. This one definitely is the real deal. Where i live it is very dusty due to the dry dirt and hot weather because of this I dont like to open any windows in my house either to prevent dust from getting into my home but the problem with that has always been that it becomes very stuffy and if you have any animals dog or cats like me youll notice and odor that just wont go away unless windows are open. Ive always been bothered by the odor but as soon as i started using my air purifier on it got to work and literally took away alm of the odors in my home im really impressed The remote is small and can be kept right by you as you sleep. As you can see in the pictures i provided there are a number of different things you can check using the remote such as air quality temperature in the room humidity and more. The wifi/Thin Q app runs great for me and is definitely up to date i can see many things about my purifier such as maintainance i can see if anything needs to be changedcleanedor replaced for a longer life span of the machine .Its not only great for pets but also children especially babies where theyre at their most vulnerable stages in life. This one has an option for sound and will work well for infants or people with lung or health ussues such as asthma. Overall i have absolutely no issues with this purifier i have had it for a while now and it works great Its a great buy i highly recommend it.

It goes without saying but this is a beautiful air purifier Setup was super easy and involved removing the plastic wrap from the filter and the tape from the fan blades. The device snaps into the stabilizing stand and it was ready to go. You do have to spend some time reading about all the great features of the device. Dont skip this because youll be amazed at all it can do You can control the device with the touch controls on the top of the device with the remote or by setting up the app. App set up was very easy just select it from the available devices that it recognizes and then follow the simple instructions. Very easy pairing process. Once pairing is complete you can use the app in lieu of the remote control. The actual remote control is very handy as well and it is nice and small and attaches to the side of the device on a magnetic mount. Whichever control you use you can change the mode the fan speed rotation sleep timer and more. The digital screen can display not only the air quality but also the temperature humidity and fan speed. This device is so versatile as there are three airflow options to choose from: Direct Wide and Diffused. The Direct Mode forces air forward great option as a cooling feature the Wide Mode works in a similar fashion but it the air is pushed to reach a wider area and the Diffused Mode pushes the air from the top of the machine. These options are great because they allow you to customize the best output based on the space of the room and where you place the device. The device also doubles as an oscillating fan and it really puts out nice airflow with very little noise. There are ten fan speeds and although the fan volume increases along with the fan speed the noise is never distracting even at the Turbo Mode. At higher fan speeds the air movement is distinctly noticeable and provides a cooling effect to the surroundings. My preferred fan setting is at speed six because it provides a soft breeze with a soft hum. The Turbo Mode is very useful when you need a quick blast of clean air because the speed sets to 10 for a limited time and then reverts to Auto Fan which adjusts the speed and filtration level based on the air quality. I love how the oscillation can be adjusted based on angles so it you place it in a corner the oscillation can be adjusted accordingly. If you only want air purification without the fan simply dial down the fan speed. The best feature of this has been that once I set it up at my ideal fan speed and rotating style I dont have to adjust it. It quietly works its magic and cleans the air continuously. And I love seeing the digital screen illuminated with Good Air Quality every time I walk by it

LG PuriCare AeroTower Air Purifying Fan with True HEPA and UVnano is just what I needed to help with my seasonal allergies and is keeping allergies that are coming up during my Fall cleaning and rennovations.
Over all I discovered that all the settings are pretty easy to understand and the installation and setting up the app was pretty simple on my tablet and has worked perfectly. My favorite part is using to application to work the tower because its easier on my eyes than reading it on the tower screen. I love that it has a magnet on the side so I wont lose the remote.
Its pretty quiet speed on Levels 1-7 but its loud on 8-10 so when you sleep I suggest to keep it 1-7 fan speed levels. Even in the livingroom where I set it up I can hear it down the hall on the higher levels.
The size of the unit is pretty tall about 44 inches and weighs a bit 27.6 lbs and we set it up in the corner of the livingroom to get the largest area of coverage in the house. The look sleek and classy and the design is beautiful so it kind of adds to the decor without being an eyesore.
Were really impressed with the AeroTower and this product is the highest quality made. I totally love it.

I love how the LG PuriCare AeroTower Air Purifying Fan with True HEPA and UVnano LED is vertically designed so it saves up room. The filter is simple and effortless to put in. It has multi-airflow settings and I am able to remotely control the air purifying fan to adjust things such as the intensity and whether I want it to automatically rotate. It does a great job at removing odors and even comes with wi-fi/ThinQ connectivity which allows for greater convenience. The safe plate is included as well. Overall this air purifying fan makes me feel very comfortable and I highly recommend it.

Im literally obsessed with this air Purifying Fan. I absolutely love the fact that it will break down the quality of your air letting you know what dust particles are the worst and what your air is compromised of. The filter is so good it even has a mesh cover over it to help collect the dust. Ive seen such a positive change in our air quality since using this air purifier. The fan itself is great although it isnt super strong if thats what you are looking for. We use this in the bedroom and we watch our air quality through out the day change and everytime it says moderate or unhealthy it very quickly changes back to good. This air purifier works so quickly and to speed it up more there is a turbo option that runs for 10 minutes at a time. Whenever our air says unhealthy we put it on turbo mode and it clears up the air very quickly and changes the air quality to good super quickly. I fully recommend this air purifier to everyone you never realize your air is so bad until you have one. Our dust has decreased by more than half which is amazing An we just feel healthier breathing in clean air.

This air purifier is simply magnificent. Aside from looking like a bona fide piece of furniture it is a futuristic conversation piece. Air Purifier arrived in excellent packaging and was very easy to set-up remember to remove the filter from unit and take the plastic off filter. Instructions were great and setting up the unit with the LG app took three minutes. The modes on the machine are intuitive and you can control the unit from the top buttons or the app. The purifer is whisper quiet and quite powerful. After just a few days I could see and feel a real difference in the air quality. I have a small do that normally avoids my living room but is now very comfortable. I highly recommend this item

Fan is really quiet with a large coverage area sturdy and well balanced Im very pleased with the fan. I set it up turned it on and dont have to think about it again. Just make sure to read the directions how to set it up on your coverage area in your home.

This LG Electronics - U9CV2B air purifying fan really cleans and freshens the air I definitely notice there is practically NO dust in my house since Ive been using this. I love that its also a fan for both comfort and to keep the air moving and circulating. The remote control lets me do any adjustments easily even while in bed. This thing also just looks really cool. Very happy overall.

I got this for my mom as her old fan and air filter quite working. I like the fact it is controlable with an app so if you lose the remote that comes with it you can still operate it without getting up and its pretty easy to use.the air filiter works great and helps with keeeping the smells from her trashcan down so thats a plus

I got this a couple weeks ago and the purifier is both very quiet and efficient. It has been great for both the circulation and ventilation of my bedroom as there is no ceiling fan in there. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new air purifier.
