The LG Sidekick is specifically designed to wash your small, custom-care laundry loads. Its compact size is perfect for special care items that you prefer to wash separate from your normal loads. So you can wash your separate loads as often as you need or at the same time as your large, family-size loads. This model is compatible with WM5000HVA or any other 27" LG washers purchased in the last ten years. Perfect for intimates, hand wash, whites, delicates, active wear and more! The LG Sidekick is compatible with WM5000HVA or any other 27" LG washers purchased after 2009. When you buy a washer, you don't want to worry that it won't last. We used the product all the time and liked it. But the hinge is terribly designed. It broke on one of the sides after about two years of regular use. Its a little plastic piece that no longer allows the lid to close and its effectively been unused now for almost 2 years. Its not worth the money.

Bad Washer Quality

I purchased this sidekick for my newborns clothings. The machine showed error code of PE after 2 months of using. The repair team came and replaced the mother board and water pressure sensor. they could not fix it and return is not an option. Bad experience.

News to me

I hurriedly ordered this thinking I would have storage space for detergent softener etc so I was surprised when it was delivered. I have tried to get my wife to use it but no luck yet. To be honest we have not taken the time to see what we can do with it. I am sure one day soon we will be excited to use it.
