This was my first experience with R&Q. I had heard great things about them thru friends and neighbors in my area and figured I’d see for myself. My husband and I went there looking for laminate flooring to redo our living room and kitchen which is carpeted. We walked in and we were immediately greeted by Maggie asking what we were looking for. We explained and she took us to the flooring department. She spent close to 90 minutes going over the different styles and helped us narrow down our search based on our kitchen draw color and wood type as well as other items in our home that could influence wood and color choices. After we selected our flooring, we asked about countertops and she took us to meet with Joe. Both Maggie and Joe worked with us to show us different countertops to match the flooring and cabinets. Maggie stayed with us thru the entire process working with Joe until we agreed on our countertops. They made shopping there an enjoyable and fun process! Even my husband remarked that he was surprised by the experience because he hates to shop for things like this. After we wrote everything up, Maggie offered to give us a tour of the store since we had never been there before. All in all, we were there for 3 1/2 hours because they wanted to make sure we were happy with our purchase. We never felt rushed or like we were a bother as we changed our minds several times. Both Maggie and Joe were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and a joy to work with. They came to measure our house 2 days later and we had our estimate the following business day. Even the man who measured had 6 years of experience as an installer and answer all of our questions. We will certainly be back to R&Q in the future and have told several friends about our experience and recommendation.

Excellent shopping experience. I was looking for a large comfy couch for my new house but didn’t know exactly what to buy. The options were endless and the sales person was a huge help in listening to my wants and helping me narrow down the choices. Once we found the couch from a size, shape and design she helped me pick out fabrics for the couch and throw pillows that match my room color scheme. She had a great eye for coordinating colors. The whole experience was enjoyable and I got exactly what meets my needs.

Joshua was a big help with choosing several new appliances. When considering a stove with a double oven, he brought out an inflated “turkey” and a metal “plate” and had me put in and take out of the lower oven. It made me realize that I DID NOT want an oven at that level. He gave pros and cons for all of my questions and we left the store excited and confident in our choices. We will be purchasing a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer from Ruby and Quiri.

Great selection of ALL items for your home with a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have everything from furniture to appliances to flooring to even outdoor grilling equipment and electronics. I drive from an hour away to shop here even though I have many options closer to me, it’s so worth it!

I needed help in purchasing a bedroom set and after speaking with Tara from Ashley Furniture in Amsterdam she was able to help me and with discounts.. before I went ahead to agree to what she worked out for me, I wanted to see in person a piece of the bedroom set first to make sure I liked it. She called Ruby and Quiri's for me to see a piece they had in the warehouse there. She called me back and set up a meeting with Jeff from Ruby and Quiri's to come and take me through the warehouse where I made my decision to purchase the bedroom set. Jeff took care of everything along with his staff. I will be getting me new bedroom set in 2weeks! Thank you Tara from Ashley Furniture in Amsterdam NY and Jeff and staff at Ruby and Quiri's in Gloversville NY! They made it super easy for me!

Everyone at Ruby is always very warming and welcoming when you walk into the door. I’ve had nothing but great experiences when I walk in there. I love the six month interest free you get on your products to. Makes it easier to pay them off faster and not get into to bad of debt. Also the delivery guys are so awesome and helpful. They have to work on the fly sometimes whether it be take a door off the hinges or remove the railing to get the item in. Good place to work I have heard to. Rick Ruby definitely does a good job taking care of his employees!!!
